Diabetic with Sarcoma left leg
– Chronic diabetic ulcer need to be managed very aggressively. Goal is to heal all ulcers early in the history.
– Chronic infection of ulcer can lead to neoplastic changes to the wound. This can lead to Soft tissue Sarcoma (cancer).
– Tumor growth is fast. Surgical removal of tumor with radiation.
– Prognosis is bad. Above Knee Amputation
